A tremendous thank
you goes out to all of our campers, neighbors, the Koonsmans, and Salem RV for
their efforts during our latest flood scare. Thank God the weather reports were
wrong! I know some of you were less than thrilled to have done all that work for
nothing, but it was much safer and controlled than trying to do it with water
over our knees.
Ask any of us who
have been through it before! We did learn a thing or two more, one of which is
that we need every guest to PUT THEIR NAME ON THEIR PROPANE TANK or
somewhere else that is easily seen so we can identify your camper.
It will make
putting you back where you belong much easier. To this end, no propane tank
will be filled without a name on it.
Another thank you
goes out to the Noblit's and Gavitts for the fireworks. As usual you did an
amazing job!
The Herrold’s,
Donna Foust, the Duganitz's, and the Bloom's deserve thanks as well, for their
assistance with the various activities.

Some of you have heard rumors of the
bridge being closed for repairs. This is scheduled to happen anywhere from April
2007 – April 2009. I have a petition for a temporary bridge to be built during
this period. It is an 8-10 mile drive to get from one side to the other and will
also delay our emergency response time.
The more people who sign it, the
better chance we have to get the bridge. PLEASE BE SURE TO STOP IN THE OFFICE
AND SIGN THE PETITION!!!!
Thank you to the overnight guest who
have taken the time to utilize the comment cards we have been giving out. We
want all of our guests to enjoy their stay with us and your input is vital in
our reaching that goal. Our seasonal guests should find a card with their
electric bill.
You can drop them in the red boxes
located on each bath house, put them through the drop slot or mail them to us.
If you would like a response, please include contact information on the card.

Many of you have already met Adam Wolfe,
our new park security. Adam is here to assist us all with various problems such
as speeding and unleashed pets. Please welcome him to the family when you get a
chance.

Seasonal guests, please do not come to the office to pay electric bills on the
Friday of holiday weekends. Things are already crazy enough that day and this is
